Happy Friday! It’s the weekend, baby! And, it is supposed to be GORGEOUS in Dallas. Here in Texas, we have a window in the Spring which makes for perfect patio weather. We are entering that time now, and it is one of my favorite times of the year. Lots of golf, football, and patio time coming fast for the Beucler crew.

Here are some of my favorites from this week! Here we go . . .

ONE

I mean, can I get an Amen? If you have been here for awhile, then you know my obsession with Starbucks. My favorite barista just invited me to his wedding and texts me from time to time. Clearly, Starbucks and I love each other. It is mutual.

HOWEVER . . . after years of my obsession, I am slowly finding a new place to supplement. Oh, La La Land. I love you. It is such a cheery place with GREAT coffee, a great atmosphere, and cute little cup sleeves with kind phrases. My favorite? “Be the kind of person your dog thinks you are”. I mean, Tank and Coal think that I am pretty cool, so I think I am good to go at this point.

I still love Starbucks. But, now I also love my large iced decaf americano with almond milk and stevia. Yes please! If you have a La La Land around you, check them out!

TWO

I am at the point in my life where mama needs a little TLC on the under eye fine line situation. The amount of eye patches that I tried over quarantine was slightly obscene. Amazon was my friend in 2020. Of all of the patches I have tried, I am going out on a limb to say that the these Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels are the way to go. These eye patches are AMAZING!!! So many products require you spend 20+ minutes of your time, which I don’t really have on a daily basis. These bad boys smooth, tone, refresh, and depuff. If you need to look like you slept well last night or didn’t have one drink too many . . . OR, if you just want to look like your best self . . . these are for you. Love!

THREE

Sweet Kathleen at Kathleen Jennings Beauty shared my Instagram story earlier this week, and SO many of you reached out to me asking about my sunglasses. I love social media. We all have to stick together when it comes to beauty, health, and fashion, am I right?

I love these sunglasses and a great deal! My sister-in-law had these Gucci glasses last spring, and I fell in love. I did not, however, fall in love with the $400+ price tag that I was seeing online. Enter my Amazon-loving husband who found these heavily discounted and got them for me for Mother’s Day. They are authentic Gucci glasses, they come with the trademark velvet case, and dress up any outfit. They also are big enough where they hide my eye patches when I wear them during carpool! Ha! Multi-tasking!

FOUR

Last weekend, we had a family movie night with zero ideas of what to watch. A friend had mentioned that she and her son binge-watched The Flash (originally on CW, now on Netflix) over quarantine, and it was a family-friendly, super fun show. We decided to watch the first episode, and we were all OBSESSED!

Let me say that my kids have learned the term “binge-watching”, and ask to stay up late every night just to watch this. We are currently half way through season 1, and I think we are all planning to knock back a few episodes over the weekend.

If you haven’t watched The Flash, I highly recommend it! My boys are 13 and 10, and it has been great for them. I will say that our most recent episode introduced a dating situation that has me gripping the remote should I need to “earmuff” the kids and forward. Of course, this first aired on the CW network, so I am assuming this will continue to be benign. Yeah for binge-watching!
