FRIDAY FAVORITES

Happy Friday!  Has this been a crazy week for y’all? It has been all good, but still super busy over at the Beucler House! Anniversary, Halloween, prepping for a big birthday next week . . . lots of fun!  I am publishing this post a little later than normal because it needed to be updated with some AMAZING news! People . . . it is now CHRISTMAS TIME!!!!!!!

I have proof that it is officially Christmas . . .

one

The Christmas cups are at Starbucks, people! RUN to get yourself a cup of coffee!!! I walked in to my Starbucks at 6:30am this morning, and sweet Dylan (yes, I am on a first name basis with the baristas . . . I go to Starbucks too often!) asked how I like all of the Christmas decorations.  It was then that I became as giddy as a little girl on Christmas morning.  This is so silly, but when the Christmas cups are introduced each year, it is like God is telling me I can start playing Christmas music and no one will judge me.

Starbucks #1 of the day . . .

Starbucks #2 of the day . . .

My family thinks I am nuts about this one day, and you may think I am as well.  But, if you need me, I will probably be grabbing another Starbucks.  I love Christmas!

So, moving a little away from my crazy, and looking back to October, this was a packed week.  Reid and I celebrated 14 years together! So thankful for this guy! Infertility and miscarriage can be tough on relationships, and I am blessed that we were able to walk that road together.  We have experienced lots of heartbreak and lots of happiness.  I will hold on to him for a little while longer. 😉

Happy Halloween! It was SUPER rainy in Dallas on Wednesday night, but we still managed to get some candy during the breaks of rain! My dinner that night consisted of wine, shrimp, and Reese’s peanut butter cups.  It was a tasty treat!  I hung out with Black Panther and Groot all night.  Oh, and I was dressed as a Boston Red Sox fan.  Go Sox!

Reid and I were so honored to be on the Host Committee for last night’s 10th Anniversary Fall Benefit.  Our dear friend started ACT 10 years ago, and has experienced inspiring success in Dallas.  Act is a new model of ministry that uses the justice system to empower inner-city residents to fight crime on their street, while sharing with them the hope of the gospel.  Their goal is to:
*Reduce The number of drug houses in the neighborhood.
*Restrict The criminal networks in the neighborhood from expanding or relocating.
*Restore Hope and dignity necessary to sustain a healthy community.

It was such an amazing evening, and it is exciting to see how ACT will grow and help others in Dallas moving forward.  Click here to check out ACT, and learn more about this awesome organization!

And . . . congrats to last week’s FRIDAY FAVORITES winner! Kathleen (@mcleodlife) won both a bottle of the Somaderm Gel and the Plexus ProBio5!

Have a great weekend! We finally have sunny skies in Dallas! Looking forward to Starbucks (yeah for Christmas cups!), sitting by the firepit, having smores, grilling out, and jumping on the trampoline with my boys this weekend! I hope that you guys are doing something fun as well! XO
