Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! It is the weekend!

Such a FUN group of Friday Favorites today. Check it out!

ONE

Be still my heart! This little man turned twelve yesterday. TWELVE! Oh friends . . . the days are long, but the years are short. Time is flying.

We have been celebrating our sweet Harlan for over a week, and definitely finished his big day up with a bang!

After over a year of infertility treatments, we got pregnant with our sweet boy. He scared us all to death when he decided to come five weeks early, but that is who he is. He always wants to be in the mix. He may not be on center stage, but likes to be included in all of the fun!

So, Happy 12th Birthday to my TCU-obsessed, Dallas Cowboys-loving, kind, loyal, hilarious little man. So blessed to be this guy’s mom!

TWO

This weekend is SMU Homecoming AND my 20th college reunion. TWENTY YEARS, people! How did that happen? There are days that I like to think I am still in college. All of my anti-aging products are clearly proof that is not the case, but still! TWENTY YEARS!!

Tonight I am having dinner with my FAVORITE people, followed by a huge party with our class. Then tomorrow is the SMU game! Pony Up!

I can’t wait! Pictures to come, so definitely follow my Lunchbox Babies Instagram page! Woohoo!

THREE

I have been very open and honest on the blog about my hair issues. Years of infertility treatments turned my amazing hair into a major work in progress. Add two back-to-back failed pregnancies in 2017, and my hair was crying for help. And, me right along with it. You can click here to read my first post about my hair issues.

I am still on the road to “hair recovery”, but wanted to let you guys in on a new product that I am using. My new dermatologist is also a bit of a hair specialist. Obviously, I love this woman. She is having me take four of these vitamins a day. I have been on these for only a few weeks, but I think I am seeing less hair falling out. Could be wishful thinking, but I really believe that.

So, just wanting to throw this out there for all of you that are having hair issues right along with me! I buy this at my dermatologist’s office, but I also found it here on Amazon! Please note that this is only for women that are DONE with having babies. Our shop has been closed due to all of our issues, so it is safe for me to take.

Let me know if you are taking this and enjoying some results. I am hopeful!

FOUR

Some fun news! I am honored to have been interviewed on the Joy & Infertility Podcast. Caley is such a blessing with her podcast, and is offering women hope and love through her ministry. Caley had me on to share my crazy story of infertility and loss, and we chatted about how I have managed to come out on the other side with a strong faith. The episode will air on December 10th, and I will make sure to get you a link once it goes live! Yeah!

Such a fun Friday Favorites! Have a great weekend, and I will see you back here on Monday! XO
