We’ve been doing a lot of talking, learning, and praying in the Beucler House over the last couple of weeks. One thing that our minister said last week was that “Racism Is Not Compatible With Christianity”. I love that quote. And, I pray that we are all able to open our hearts and choose kindness and love.

Next Wednesday, June 17th, our church is hosting “A Conversation in Black & White”. Our minister, along with the senior paster from St. Paul UMC will talk about racial injustices and the road towards understanding, transformation, and healing for citizens in Dallas.

TWO

At 6am tomorrow morning, the Beucler Family truckster is pulling away from the house and headed to Florida. WE ARE SO EXCITED!

Last Spring Break, my sister-in-law and I decided to rent a house on Captiva for the week. We didn’t realize until a couple of weeks before our trip that the house we rented was actually on NORTH Captiva. Totally different. As in you can only get there by ferry. And, once you are there, you can only get around by bike or golf cart. Totally off the grid. And, total paradise.

Full disclosure that I would prefer flying, but our crew is just trying to stay safe during these uncertain times. And, I am all pumped up about a Florida drive thru BBQ place that is gluten free. I cannot remember the name, but I guarantee that I will stop at several of them on the way. We are also set with movies, books, and these awesome games I found on Pinterest. Any other fun road trip games?

The picture below is one from last year on North Captiva. My niece, sister-in-law and I are not standing on a spot of beach without people, umbrellas, and craziness. That is just how 99% of the beaches look on the island. SOOOOOOOOO excited to get back to this paradise.

Y’all! After WEEKS of no sports, WEEKS of being home, and WEEKS of reruns, we are PUUUUUMMMPPPPED about this summer’s TV choices. Somehow, the taping of these shows must have been done before quarantine, and they are all SO.MUCH.FUN.! All very kid friendly, and so enjoyable. If you need us this summer, we will either be swimming in the pool or watching one of these shows! Check them out!
